All elective faculty members shall be required to substantially comply with the following guidelines. When the final grade for the elective is assigned, students will receive e mail notification that the evaluation has been officially recorded and is available for student review in the Office of Student Affairs; this notification will include a reminder of the Grade Review Policy. If a student believes there has been an error in the grading process, or believes the final evaluation does not accurately reflect the performance, the student may speak informally with the responsible elective faculty member to find a resolution. However, the student is not required to pursue an informal review, but instead may request a formal review. The student shall have 30 working days in which to commence the formal review process; the 30 working day time period will begin with the date the e mail notification is sent that the evaluation has been officially recorded and is available for student review in the Office of Student Affairs. The students request must be addressed to the responsible elective faculty member, must be in writing and must include written documentation of the rationale for the request for the review.

39In protected homes across the empire, humans have curled up in their armchairs with their pets and their species simulated snacks to watch the destruction of the rest of the world on TV. It is hard to know whether any humans will survive such domestic dreams. Fungi are not taking a position. Even the hardy lichens are dying from air pollution and acid rain. 40 When they take up radioactivity from nuclear accidents, they feed it to the reindeer, who in turn feed it to human herders. 41 We can ignore them, or we can consider what they are telling us about the human condition.

Still, the Six was Winton's calling card and the company urged drivers to give it a try: "Find Out What a Six Can do and You'll Not be Contented Until You Have One". Ohio born President William Taft, in office from 1909 to 1913, was the first President to own and drive cars. He established a fleet of cars for the white House that included a Baker Electric, a White Model M Steam Car, a Pierce Arrow, and several Wintons. The Six really was Winton's claim to fame during these years, and a 1909 ad claimed that Winton had been forced to make and market them two years ahead of schedule. Ad copy explained further that the 1907 Model M four cylinder had "no superior among fours" but "finding buyers clamoring for a new merit that fours could not satisfy, Mr. Winton had no alternative. " He just had to give customers what they wanted, and when that was extra power, Winton perfected the Six. By 1910, Winton had marketed eighteen models and had learned as much about marketing as about manufacturing cars. Marketing campaigns let customers know that the Winton Six exhausted the present possibilities of motor car perfection; that it had the only air powered, self cranking starter motor ; and that it was made by a specialist. Such campaigns also quoted satisfied customers, one California lady saying, "It accomplishes previously impossible results in quietness, comfort, flexibility, hill climbing and economy. " Quoting from an article that appeared in Collier's Weekly, a Winton ad noted that the Six was "so quiet that the occupants of the tonneau have to talk in whispers to keep the chauffeur from hearing".

Until you're the fat person who is on a diet constantly and can never lose the weight, shut your mouth. Judgemental people always speak the loudest and it's always about st they know nothing about but seem to think they are the authority. AinT, I was a fat person who lost weight and it is a matter of will power. There is nothing forcing people to food down there throats and sit in front of a TV or computer all day. It's all about the ability to say no and take initiative to be active. Anyway, the reoccurance of addictive behaviors for people who have had bariatic surgery is over 50% so most people who need it to lose weight are going to become addicted to something else like alcohol or over the counter drugs or something with a quick gratification. @Marie Your statement is not well thought out. The surgery is more than likely very much less of a financial drain on "your insurance premium" than managing the chronic care of diabetes and the number of other health problems that can occur with obesity. And no matter how healthy you think that you are, anything can happen at any time to anyone, and I doubt if you'd want someone who thinks like you sitting in judgement over your health care. Marie;Just because something doesn't extend life it does not mean it is not useful. It improves the quality of life.

She threw temper fits when she didnt get her own way. She swore like a sailor, while pretending to be a devout Christian on Sundays. She refused to contribute any of her own money to the household bills. She harassed my father constantly for money. Eventually, the word DIVORCE came up, and we all prayed it would happen. It didnt. My father stayed with this crazy woman, getting quieter, more depressed, and more confused. The police were called on more than one occasion because of her temper fits. Finally, against her better judgment, my aunt got involved. In 2016, it became increasingly clear that my father needed to be evaluated by a neurologist. He was diagnosed with Alzheimers.
